Richard Martin
Richard Martin is the Director of Operations of Orion Group Management, LLC. Mr. Martin has over ten years of experience in the management of equipment, material and personnel, which began during ten (10) years of military service in the United States Army from 1986 to 1996, serving in such units as the 82nd Airborne Division and the 7th Special Forces Group. During this time Mr. Martin was instrumental in organizing and managing of operations resulting in a 40% increase of deployed units and personnel without increasing expense.
After leaving military service, Mr. Martin founded Spectrum Consulting, a successful management-consulting firm that assisted businesses with their initial start-up, organizational design, development, and growth. During this time he spearheaded varied projects such as a merger of an importer with an equipment sales corporation in the dry-cleaning industry, the growth of businesses from small leasehold locations into multiple, self owned locations and the reorganization of businesses for efficiency and operational performance.
Most recently, in 2000 and 2001, Mr. Martin worked as the sales and marketing manager for an alternative weekly magazine, further developing not only marketing sales skills, but refining his management style. Since 2000, Mr. Martin has worked as a marketing, operations, and sales consultant. Martin has also participated in various TLC auctions in a number of states purchasing TLCs at each.
